Overview of Val d’Ese
The Val d’Ese resort, on the communes of Bastelica and Ciamannacce, extends across a ski area of over 20 hectares. In addition to the marked runs, it offers a potential of 100 hectares of nearby off-piste for more experienced skiers. The development of the site began in the 1970s, with the first ski lifts installed in 1976. Today, the resort is a meeting point for all mountain enthusiasts — skiers, walkers or simply those in search of grandiose landscapes.
