The Espace Roc d’Enfer is the ski area of Saint-Jean-d’Aulps, linked to the Bellevaux-La Chevrerie resort. It offers around 50 km of marked runs between 950 and 1,800 metres altitude, at the foot of the eponymous summit. Its unique feature in the Alps is the Le Roc d’Enfer circuit — a loop of nearly 20 km allowing ski touring through forests and high pastures, offering a unique linked skiing experience. The ascent is in one direction on one slope; the return is via another pass, also in one direction. The ski area has around thirty runs (mainly green, blue and red) served by around fifteen ski lifts, including a gondola from Saint-Jean-d’Aulps.
