Overview of Porté-Puymorens

Porte-Puymorens is a resort apart. It extends from the authentic village of Porte to the Col de Puymorens (1,920 m) and offers a ski area of incredible diversity, rising to 2,500 metres. Thanks to its multiple aspects and geographical situation, it benefits from a microclimate that guarantees one of the finest snowpacks in the Pyrenees. The ski area divides into several sectors. The Vignole sector, departing from the village, is ideal for beginners and families. The Col de Puymorens sector opens onto wide, sunny runs. But it is the Mine sector that makes the resort’s reputation: a vast high-mountain area, ungroomed, offering countless off-piste routes in snow that often remains powdery. Porte-Puymorens is the anti-marketing resort — a raw destination for skiing purists.
