Overview of Les Angles
Les Angles stands out for its village resort concept. Unlike many resorts built from scratch, here it was the ski area that was grafted onto an existing pastoral village. The result is a unique atmosphere where you can take off your skis in the heart of the old village, near the traditional stone houses and local shops. The main ski area base — more modern — is on the Plateau de Bigorre, where the main lifts depart. The ski area, from 1,650 to 2,400 metres, is one of the most varied in the massif. It offers two atmospheres: runs laid through the great pine forest of the Foret de la Matte — ideal in windy weather — and high-altitude runs on the Roc d’Aude and Pelerins sectors, offering 360-degree panoramas. Thanks to a very modern lift fleet, including a 16-person gondola, circulation across the ski area is smooth and fast.

In summer, Les Angles is a very dynamic mountain destination. The Wildlife Park is a must-visit for observing Pyrenean fauna. The nearby Lac de Matemale becomes a leisure base with beaches, water activities and tree-top adventure courses.
