Located on the commune of Sondernach, the Schnepfenried resort ranges from 1,010 to 1,258 metres altitude. It is a human-scale resort, organised around its main ski area base where essential services are found: ski hire, ski school, restaurants and more. The ski area is the heart of the winter activity. Thanks to a good snowmaking network, the resort ensures good snow conditions throughout the season. Le Schnepfenried is also one of the rare Vosges resorts to offer night skiing several evenings a week — a very popular experience. In summer, the resort remains a very attractive destination, transforming into a large playground for mountain biking, hiking and outdoor leisure, with a tree-top adventure park and a summer inflatable ring sledge, the Tuby’Gliss. In summer, the Schnepf is a green leisure destination. The flagship activity is tree-top adventure at the Form’Aventures park.
