Hautacam is a mid-altitude resort (1,500-1,800 m) spread across two sectors. The Cardouet sector (1,500 m) is the heart of the resort — the road arrival point and the departure for most activities. It is a vast sunny plateau, ideal for beginner skiers, toboggan runs and snowshoe walks. Higher up, the Naouit sector offers somewhat more technical runs and wilder landscapes. What makes Hautacam famous is its multi-activity approach. It was one of the first Pyrenean resorts to develop a four-season offering, with its Mountain Luge rail sledge — the flagship attraction.
