Crevoux is composed of traditional hamlets that have preserved their old-world charm. The main village, with its stone houses and wide rooftops, reflects the typical mountain architecture of this Hautes-Alpes region. The hamlet of La Chalp, at 1,700 m altitude, is the starting point for the Nordic ski area and houses the cross-country ski lodge. During the summer season, Crevoux is an ideal destination for hiking enthusiasts — and a calm mountain village close to the Lac de Serre-Poncon and its many activities. Marked trails allow you to discover natural sites such as the Cascade de Razis and the Lac du Crachet. Original activities, such as Swin Car rides (all-terrain electric vehicles), are also available for exploring the high pastures with the family. Paragliding and canyoning enthusiasts will also find their match in the surrounding area. In Embrun (20 minutes away), water sports, swimming and rafting on the Durance are also available.

The resort offers a 22 km alpine ski area across 16 runs (3 green, 7 blue, 5 red and 1 black), ideal for skiers in search of nature and tranquillity. Freeride enthusiasts particularly appreciate the descents through the larch trees and the vast untouched expanses. The Nordic ski area at La Chalp offers 45 km of cross-country trails, along with snowshoe routes and a biathlon stadium.

Nestled in the upper Crevoux torrent valley, the Crevoux Nordic ski area offers an exceptional setting for cross-country skiing and Nordic activities. Labelled 3 Sapins by Nordic France, this site is renowned for its remarkable and preserved natural environment amid larch forests. Departing from the La Chalp hamlet at 1,600 metres altitude, the ski area extends to 2,000 metres. This high altitude and a favourable aspect guarantee early and high-quality snow throughout the season — it is among the highest Nordic ski areas in the Southern Alps. The ski area offers 45 kilometres of marked routes. Nordic skiers have access to 6 dedicated trails (for both classic and skating), suited to all levels: 1 green, 2 blue, 2 red and 1 black. Alongside skiing, the ski area offers 3 groomed shared routes for pedestrians, snowshoe walkers and fat bikers. Dedicated snowshoe trails — such as Le Belvédère (6 km) and Le Forest (3.5 km) — allow plateau exploration. Crevoux has also built infrastructure to diversify its activities. The resort has a complete biathlon stadium with a permanent shooting range, where initiation sessions are regularly offered. For families and beginners, a fun Nordic area (Ludo Park) has been created to learn the basics of sliding while having fun.
