The Crest-Voland/Cohennoz resort brings together two distinct villages set on a panoramic balcony facing the Mont Charvin, above the Arly valley. The centre of Crest-Voland, lively, gathers shops, accommodation, ski schools and the ski area base. Cohennoz, more discreet, preserves its rural character with old timber chalets, renovated farmhouses and small chapels. In summer, Crest-Voland is an ideal base camp for exploring the Beaufortain high pastures and Val d’Arly forests. Marked trails cross hamlets, flower-filled meadows and viewpoints over the Mont Blanc range. Mountain biking is also well represented.
