Overview of Le col de Rousset

The Col de Rousset links the Diois to the Vercors through an iconic tunnel bored in 1979. This pass symbolises the transition between the humid alpine climate and the drier Mediterranean influence. The ski and mountain resort is composed of human-scale structures, respecting traditional mountain architecture, and integrates harmoniously into the natural Vercors landscape. It is primarily a snow area for family skiing within easy reach of Valence, Montelimar and Avignon.
