The Pralognan ski area extends from 1,400 to 2,350 m altitude, with 25 km of runs across 12 ski lifts. Though it may seem modest, it seduces with its grandiose natural setting, nestled between the cliffs of the Grande Casse and deep forests. It has 9 green, 3 blue, 8 red and 4 black runs, a beginner area at the ski area base and a sportier sector on the Barioz plateau. The ski area is often uncrowded even at peak season, allowing calm, panoramic and safe skiing. It is also a good terrain for ski touring initiation, with several marked routes towards the Col Rosset or the Mont Bochor. A good compromise for families, contemplatives and nature skiing enthusiasts.
