The 7 Laux alpine ski area is spread across Prapoutel, Pipay and Le Pleynet, between 1,350 and 2,400 m altitude. It has 51 runs (11 green, 14 blue, 19 red, 7 black) across 120 km of skiing. The ski lift network has been extensively modernised, with recent gondolas, fast chairlifts and an effective snowmaking system. It is a high vertical-drop ski area, with 1,050 m of continuous descent, sustained gradients and a secured freeride sector (Vallons du Pra). The Prapoutel snowpark, the timing piste, beginner areas and marked ski touring routes complete a technical but balanced offering. The whole is well-maintained, well-signposted and suited to both families and experts. A truly alpine ski area — fast and varied, perfect for those who enjoy chaining descents in a rhythmic and natural terrain.
