The Font d’Urle – Chaud Clapier alpine ski area extends between 1,250 and 1,700 metres altitude, in a unique natural setting combining pine forests, high plateaus and cliffs typical of the Vercors. With 16 runs (5 green, 8 blue, 3 red) served by 8 ski lifts, it is a human-scale sliding area, particularly suited to beginners, families and skiers in search of tranquillity. Natural snowfall can be irregular, but the north-west facing aspect often ensures good snow retention. Fun zones are laid out for children, and the resort also offers a secured toboggan piste. The atmosphere remains simple, convivial and queue-free — perfect for learning to ski, improving or simply enjoying a calm and affordable ski area in a grandiose setting.
