Alpine ski area — Abries
The Abries ski area extends from 1,550 to 2,450 metres altitude, offering a 900 m vertical drop. It comprises 17 runs: 2 green, 3 blue, 10 red and 1 black, totalling 21 km of descents. A 6-person detachable chairlift and several drag lifts provide access to the different zones. The south-facing aspect guarantees optimal sunshine, while the high altitude ensures good snow quality. The off-piste areas, particularly towards Valprevyre, are popular with freeriders for their abundant powder snow during easterly weather patterns.
