The Val d’Azun Nordic ski area unfolds across two complementary sites, linked by a connecting trail, offering great diversity of landscapes and activities. The Col de Couraduque (1,367 m) is the fun and family hub of the ski area. Organised around its modern welcome chalet, it offers wide, sunny runs — ideal for initiation. This is where children’s activities are concentrated, including the Nordic Park area, a snow garden and several toboggan pistes. The site also has an alpine ski run for absolute beginners. The Col du Soulor (1,474 m) is a mythical pass — famous for its Tour de France passage — offering a wilder and sportier slope. The runs are more technical and wind through grandiose landscapes, facing the Gabizos and Balaitous summits. This is the preferred sector for experienced Nordic skiers and snowshoers seeking tranquillity and elevation.
