The Val de Tamie Nordic ski area offers around 27 kilometres of marked and maintained cross-country trails for both classic and skating technique. The ski area is well suited to all levels, with 2 green runs for initiation, 2 blue runs for gradual progression, 1 red run for more regular skiers and 1 black run for the most athletic. An initiation stadium is also available. The routes wind through varied landscapes of forests and clearings, offering total immersion in the quietude of the Bauges massif. The Val de Tamie – Les Combes Nordic ski area is accessible from Faverges-Seythenex towards the Col de Tamie, or from Albertville via the pass. A Nordic ski lodge on site provides equipment hire and a heated warm room. Daily lift pass prices are generally affordable. Check snow conditions and opening dates before visiting.
