The Candanchú ski area, located in Huesca province Spain, is one of the Aragonese Pyrenees’ emblematic resorts, offering exceptional natural setting near the French border. Nested between 1,530 and 2,400 m altitude, this resort extends across around 50 km alpine runs across 44-57 runs to all levels. You will find 12 green for beginners, 14 blue for intermediate, 18 red for experienced and 13 black for experts, with the longest run nearly 2.9 km. Candanchú has 26 ski lifts (6 chairlifts, 17 drag lifts, 3 carpets) allowing approximately 21,700 people hourly to easily enjoy the domain. The resort has modern infrastructure with 135 snow cannons covering 8 km ensuring optimal coverage. Beyond alpine skiing, it offers a Nordic space with 3 cross-country runs totalling 7.5 km plus several snowshoe routes. A laser biathlon stadium completes winter sports offerings. Candanchú is recognised for family, traditional atmosphere with history dating to the 1920s — one of Spain’s oldest resorts. It attracts Spanish locals and French visitors via Aspe valley proximity. The resort offers ski schools, children’s fun areas, toboggan spaces and altitude restaurants.
