Prat-Peyrot – Alti-Aigoual

The only ski resort in the Gard department, Alti-Aigoual (formerly Prat-Peyrot) spans from 1,200 to 1,567m on the slopes of Mont Aigoual, in the heart of the Cévennes National Park. The alpine area offers 10 pistes (4 green, 3 blue, 3 red) served by 14 lifts and 83 snow cannons. The Nordic area, with 60km of groomed and marked trails including a competition-standard black run, unfolds across mountain landscapes with century-old woodland where flocks of sheep and cattle still graze in summer. Panoramic views take in Mont Lozère, the Grands Causses and, on a clear day, the Alps, the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean.
